Every four years the New Zealand Cartographic Society collates a National Report summarising activities over the past four years. The latest report - Cartographic Activities in New Zealand 2019-2023 - will be presented to the General Assembly of the International Cartographic Association in August at the International Cartographic Conference in Cape Town, South Africa.
Contributors to this report include cartographic and mapping societies, central and local government, the military, research institutes, universities, commercial companies, non-profit organisations, libraries, museums, and map retailers. If you are keen to contribute, please get in touch at info@cartography.org.nz.
This full day seminar will consist of short presentations from contributors, who will talk about their recent and current mapping activities. It will be held in the Thorndon/Pipitea seminar rooms at the National Library (lower ground floor - entry from Aitken Street).
Light refreshments will be provided. Watch this page for more contributors and the full speaker programme coming soon.
We hope you can make it!
